     In April of 1940 Ivie Funeral Home opened serving the people of Clay County. Mr. Ivie relocated the Hayesville facility in 1953 moving it to its present location adding a chapel seating 250 in 1976. Extensive renovation work was completed by Grier Ivie in 2002, giving the funeral home a more spacious open appearance.

     Ivie Funeral Home, located at 67 NC Highway 69 in Hayesville, NC is the only independent and family run funeral home in the tri-state area. The Ivie Funeral Home is not owned by a national chain or other big business corporation like others in the area. We are family owned and operated for over half a century. You can rely on the service we offer you on a personal level to celebrate a life that has passed but will be remembered forever.
