BERYL  MADELYN LAMMEY

Beryl Madelyn Lammey, 78, of Murphy died Saturday (April 21, 2007) at her residence. A native of Pasco County, FL, she had moved to Cherokee County 11 years ago.  She was the daughter of the late James D. and Mattie L. Bethea Slawson.  She had worked as a hair stylist for 20 years and was also a homemaker and mother.  Beryl was a member of the Murphy Seventh Day Adventist Church.


Surviving are three daughters, Cheryl R. Laurendeau of Atlanta, GA, Maria L. Burdett of Sanford, FL, and Tanya S. Lammey of Champaign, IL; two sons, Mark A. Lammey of Murphy and Donnie E. Lammey of Rantoull, IL.
 
No services are planned.
 
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in memory of Beryl Madelyn Lammey to the Murphy Seventh Day Adventist Church, PO Box 478, Murphy, NC 28906.
