DOROTHY ALICE DEISCH
 

Dorothy Alice Deisch, 82, of Murphy died Tuesday (April 24, 2007) in Heartland Hospice House in Austell, GA. She was a native of Peru, IN, but had lived in Marietta, GA before moving to Cherokee County in 1977. She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Vernon and Georgia Willamina Snyder Evans and the wife of the late John Dale Deisch, who died November 8, 1998. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church.
 
Surviving are a daughter, Gretchen Katrinka Muse of Tampa, FL; a son, Jon Chris Deisch of Marietta, GA;  a sister, Betty Rubin of Baltimore, MD;  two grandchildren, Michelle McClain and Pamela Howard;  and four great grandchildren, Donny McClain, Autumn McClain, Elizabeth Howard, and Chase Howard.
 
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment in the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery.
 
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials may be made in memory of Dorothy Alice Deisch to the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Grace Hall, 322 Ebenezer Road, Murphy, NC 28906.
