JANE DOUGHERTY

Jane Dougherty, 88, of Murphy died Sunday (April 29, 2007) at a Murphy medical center. She was a native of Mt. Clemens, MI, but had lived in Phoenix, AZ before moving to Cherokee County in 2004. She was the daughter of the late Leslie Frank and Harriet Skinner Rutter and the wife of the late Donald Wallace Dougherty. She was a homemaker and was of the Christian Science faith.


Surviving are three sons, Tom Dougherty of Murphy, Charles Dougherty of Sharpsburg, GA, and Jim Dougherty of San Antonio, TX.
