Jeanette Frances Urban Jelinek, 88, of Hayesville died Thursday (April 5, 2007) in a Murphy hospital.  A native of New York City, NY, Jeanette had lived in Massapequa, NY and Hayesville for 30 years before moving to Brasstown Manor in Hiawassee, GA.  She was the daughter of the late John and Mary Kadalic Urban.
 
Surviving are her husband of 68 years, Robert A. Jelinek;  a sister, Zdenka Miegel of Flushing, NY; a niece, Carol Cummings and husband, Michael of North Port, FL;  and a brother-in-law, Jerry R. Jelinek and Leta Harris of Hayesville.
