EMMA  LOU  LEDFORD
 

Emma Lou Ledford, 85, of Cartersville, GA, formerly of Andrews, died Thursday (Aug. 16, 2007) in a Cartersville, GA care facility.  A native of Cobb County, GA, she had lived in Andrews 47 years before moving to Cartersville in 2002.  She was the daughter of the late Walter and Cora Mae Hamby Lawrence and the wife of the late Huston Ledford, who died July 12, 1987.  She was a homemaker and was a member of the Andrews First Baptist Church.
 
Surviving are a daughter, Sandra J. Battle of Brenham, TX;  a son, Gregory L. Ledford of Cleveland, TN; a sister, Connie Wilson of Marietta, GA;  and four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
 
Graveside services at 10:30 AM Saturday (Aug. 18) in the Valleytown Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Cantrell officiating. Pallbearers:  Jason and Lucas Ledford, Warren Cantrell, John and Evan Fondren, and Travis Reed.
