LAURA  FAY  HALL     Laura Fay Hall, 92, of Warne died Wednesday (August 15, 2007) in an Atlanta, GA hospital.  A native of Clay County, she had lived in Atlanta for several years before moving back to Clay County in 1992.  She was the daughter of the late William and Bertha Parker Blankenship.  She retired after 32 years with Woodward Academy in College Park, GA.  She was a recent member of the Tusquittee Church of God, but had attended the Mount Pisgah Baptist Church for many years.   Surviving are three daughters, Loretta Miller of Forest Park, GA, Charlotte Bradshaw and husband, Clemson of Warne, and Brenda Joy Edwards and husband, Doug of Stockbridge, GA;  two sons, Carol “Bub” Hall and wife, Mary Ann of Zebulon, GA and James “Jim” Hall and wife, Julie of Warne;  a step-son, Johnny Hall of Jonesboro, GA;  a sister, Josephine Gibson of Hayesville;  and 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren.   Funeral services at 2:00 PM Saturday (August 18) in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville with the Revs. Curtis Ledford and Herbert Henderson officiating.  Interment in the Union Hill Cemetery.  Pallbearers:  Michael and Christopher Miller, Wesley Edwards, Jason Hall, Edward Bradshaw, and Jerry Allison.   The family will receive friends from 6-8 Friday evening at the Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville.   In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in memory of Laura Fay Hall to the St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital, Attn: Memorial / Honor Program, PO Box 1000, Department 300, 1 St. Jude Place Building, Memphis, TN 38148-0552.
