LAURA VEROLINE

Laura Veroline, 65, of Murphy died Friday (August 31, 2007) in a Murphy medical center. She was a native of Camden, NJ, but had lived most of her life in Ft. Lauderdale, FL before moving to Cherokee County in 2002. She was the daughter of the late Hazel Lamon. She had worked as a medical billing secretary and also as a homemaker. Laura attended the Ranger United Methodist Church. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who had an undying love for the Lord.
Surviving are her husband of 47 years, Bob Veroline; two daughters, Christine Bauer of Colorado Springs, CO and Monique Veroline of Murphy; two sons, Bobby Veroline, Jr. of Leesville, LA and Randy Veroline of Murphy; two sisters, Ethel Eubanks of California and Grace Hill of Franklin, NC; three brothers, Walter Lamon of Flagler Beach, FL, George Lamon of Tampa, FL, and Jim Lamon of California; and three grandchildren, Ariel Veroline, Kady May Bauer, and Christopher Bauer.
Funeral services at 11:00 AM Tuesday (Sept. 4) in the Ranger United Methodist Church with Rev. Perry Brown and Pastor Brian Saraney officiating. Interment in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Mike Malle, Dave Jennings, Paul Wilson, Frank Roberts, Ernest Ledford, and Ken Price.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday evening at the Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy where the body will be until placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the services.
The family requests memorials may be made in loving memory of Laura Veroline to the Ranger United Methodist Church, 156 Ranger Road, Murphy, NC 28906.
