JACKIE
LEE PATTERSON
Jackie Lee Patterson,
76, of Charlotte, NC, formerly of Andrews, died Wednesday
(Dec. 17, 2003) in a Charlotte hospital. A native of
Cherokee County, Jackie had been living in Charlotte
for the past 37 years. She was the daughter of the late
Jesse and Evelyn Carroll Patterson. She enjoyed crafts
and was a member of Hickory Grove Church of God in Charlotte.
Surviving are two sisters, Marie Barrett of Savannah, GA and Zella Mae Morgan
of Charlotte; a brother, J.R. Patterson of Savannah; and 13 nieces and nephews
and several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services at 2:00 PM Saturday (Dec. 20) in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral
Home, Andrews with the Rev. Jack Simonds officiating. Burial in Valleytown
Cemetery. Pallbearers: Mike Hampton, Johnny Gilliam, Steven Patterson, John
Piercy, and Clayton McKinney.
The family will receive friends from 1-1:45 Saturday afternoon at the Ivie
Funeral Home, Andrews. The family requests memorials be made to the Hickory
Grove Church of God, 5431 Hickory Grove Road, Charlotte, NC 28215.
