Stiles, 86, of Turtletown, TN died Wednesday (Dec. 15, 2004) at her residence. A native of Polk County, she was the daughter of the late John and Nancy Coleman Weaver and the wife of the late Vaughn Stiles, who died Feb. 17, 1992. She had worked for Firestone Tire & Rubber and was a member and Sunday School teacher of the Friendship Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Lilly May Weaver Panter, Leona Weaver Rowland, Claudia Weaver Chastain, and Edna Weaver Jones; and six brothers, Carl, Sylvester, Lawrence, Clarence, Paul, and Ralph Weaver. Surviving are three sisters-in-law, Ruby Weaver and April Weaver both of Turtletown, TN, and Violet Weaver of Gastonia, NC; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services at 2:00 PM Friday (Dec. 17) in the Friendship Baptist Church with the Revs. Donald Weaver, James Worthey, and Billy Stiles officiating. Burial in the church cemetery. Deacons of Friendship Baptist Church as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Thursday evening at the Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy where the body will be until placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the services. The family requests memorials be made to the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o T.L. McNabb, 186 Friendship Church Road, Murphy, NC 28906.
