Tom Savage, 68, of Dahlonega, GA, formerly of Murphy, died Thursday (Dec. 16) in a Dahlonega hospital. A native of Murphy, he had lived in Norfolk, VA and Gainesville, GA before moving to Dahlonega seven years ago. He was the son of the late William Bert and Margaret Patton Savage and the husband of the late Margaret Grizzle Savage, who died March 14, 2002. He was a self-employed salesman, retiring in 1983. He was preceded in death by a brother, William B. Savage, Jr. Surviving are a step-daughter, Judy Ward of Monetta, SC; a step-son, Larry G. Ward of Gainesville, GA; a sister, Deidra Kelly of Ellicott City, MD; a niece, Sandra Savage of Dallas, TX; and a nephew, Eric Savage of Fayetteville, AR. Memorial services at 3:00 PM Saturday (Jan. 15, 2004) in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy with Dr. Pete Taylor officiating. Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy in charge of all arrangements. Remember
