BENJAMIN ANDREW “Ben” PRICE

Benjamin Andrew “Ben” Price, 22, of Martinez, GA died Saturday (Dec. 10, 2005) in Cornelius, NC. A native of Pennsville, NJ, he was the beloved son of Marc and Joy Price of Martinez, GA. Ben attended Lakeside High School in Martinez and graduated in 2001. He also attended Georgia Southern University and was currently attending Universal Technical Institute in Mooresville, NC. Ben was an Eagle Scout and earned a Black Belt in karate. He was a member of the St. Mark United Methodist Church in Augusta, GA.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John Mason; and his paternal grandfather, Jack Price.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a sister, Amy Price of Roseburg, OR, his maternal grandmother, Helen Mason of Unaka; his paternal grandmother, Jayne Price of Clinton, IA; and numerous loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services at 11:00 AM Wednesday (Dec. 14) in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Home in Augusta, GA with Rev. Gerald Varner officiating. Interment at 3:00 PM Thursday (Dec. 15) in Unaka Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 Tuesday evening at Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors, Augusta, GA.

Memorials may be made in memory of Benjamin Andrew “Ben” Price to The Boy Scouts of America, 1804 Gordon Highway, Augusta, GA 30904.
