DANIEL DILLS
Daniel Dills, 71, of Andrews died Friday (February 3, 2006) in an Andrews care facility. A native of Macon County, he had lived in Cherokee County for most of his life. He was the son of the late Lyman Porter and Louise Miles Dills and the husband of the late Geraldine Cecil Dills, who died June 6, 2000. Daniel was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Marine Corp. He was retired from lawn maintenance and was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Emma McCannless and one brother, Robert Dills.
Surviving are three sisters, Ruth Brendle of Cleveland, TN, Louise McClure of Andrews, and Roberta Mathews of Palm Dale, CA; and a brother, Donald Dills of Willow Park, TX.
Graveside services at 11:00 AM Monday (Feb. 6) in the Valleytown Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Messer officiating.
