Jacquelyn Connors, 74, of Hayesville died Thursday (February 2, 2006) in a Murphy care facility. A native of Birmingham, AL, she had lived in Tallahassee, FL most of her life before moving to Clay County four years ago. She was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Doris Underwood Andrews and the wife of the late Jim Connors, who died August of 1995. She was a homemaker and had attended the Killearn Baptist Church in Tallahassee for many years. Surviving are a daughter, Stacy Noe and husband, Mickey of Hayesville; and two granddaughters, Harley and Saylor Noe. Graveside services at 3:00 PM Saturday (February 4, 2006) in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Jacksonville, FL with Rev. Gregory Grant officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in memory of Jacquelyn Connors to the 100 Strong, c/o Hayesville Middle School, 136 Yellow Jacket Drive, Hayesville, NC 28904.
