BIRDIE  LEE  BRADLEY

Birdie Lee Bradley, 95, of Andrews died Friday (Feb. 23, 2007) in an Andrews care center.  A native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, she was the daughter of the late Dock and Bessie Clayton Ensley and the wife of the late Paul E. Bradley, who died in 1967.  She was a homemaker and member of the Kingdom Hall.  Birdie enjoyed quilting and wood carving.
 
She was preceded in death by two daughters and a son.
 
Surviving are a daughter, Lucille McGill and husband, Dean of Andrews;  a sister, Naomi Wiggins of Washington;  a brother, Grant Ensley of Gastonia;  and 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren.
 
Funeral services at 2:00 PM Sunday (Feb. 25) in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Andrews with the Preacher Clay Hardin officiating. Interment in Valleytown Cemetery. Pallbearers:  Chuckie and Ricky Gregory, Mitchell Newton, and Tim, Aaron, and Cameron Jacobs.
 
The family will receive friends from 12-1:45 Sunday afternoon at the Ivie Funeral Home, Andrews prior to the services.
 
The family requests memorials be made in memory of Birdie Lee Bradley to the American Cancer Society, Cherokee County Chapter, PO Box 1151, Murphy, NC 28906.
