BUSTER EDWARD LEDFORD
 

Buster Edward Ledford, 75, of Hayesville died Monday (Feb. 25, 2008) in a Towns County, GA hospital.  He was a native and lifetime resident of Clay County and the son of the late Hazel Ledford Patterson.  Buster was a retired heavy equipment operator and was of the Church of God faith.
 
He was preceded in death by a son, Edward Lynn “Beef” Ledford.
 
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Pat Litten Ledford; three daughters, Deborah Silknitter, Juanita Woody, and Carolyn Ledford all of Hayesville;  two sons, Terry and Rodney Ledford both of Hayesville; three sisters, Alawayne Ledford and Norma Jean Davenport both of Hayesville, and Jimmie Lou Parker of Hiawassee, GA;  a brother, Donald Patterson of Hayesville;  and nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
 
Funeral services at 2:00 PM Thursday (Feb. 28) in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville with the Rev. Curtis Ledford officiating.
 
The family will receive friends from 12-1:45 Thursday afternoon at the Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville prior to the services.
 
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in memory of Buster Edward Ledford to Pauline Ledford and family, PO Box 721, Hayesville, NC 28904.
