Ivie Funeral Home Obituary - BERGIN M. TATHAM Bergin M. Tatham, 67, of Acworth, GA, formerly of Andrews died Saturday (February 2, 2008) at his residence. He was a native of Cherokee County, NC. He was a retired commercial builder, who loved traveling, spending time with his family and serving the Lord. He was the son of the late John G. and Myrtle Robinson Tatham. Bergin was also preceded in death by his daughter, Teresa Hodgin; and three brothers. Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Jo Anne Beck Tatham; a daughter, Patricia Landrum and husband, Wesley of Powder Springs, GA; a son, Anthony Tatham and wife, Millie of Ware Shoals, SC; and five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday (Feb. 5) in the Chapel of the Ivie Funeral Home, Andrews with Rev. Roy Phillips officiating. Interment in the Valley River Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Wesley Landrum, Brian Landrum, Matthew Hodgin, David Golden, David Golden, II, David Beck, Ricky Hodgin, and Carlin Golden. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday evening at the Ivie Funeral Home, Andrews. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials may be made in loving memory of Bergin M. Tatham to the Georgia Cancer Specialist, 228 Riverstone Dr., Canton, GA 30114. Ivie Funeral Home, Andrews in charge of all arrangements.
