CLIFF HULS
Cliff Huls, 86, of Andrews died Sunday (February 10, 2008) in a Graham County care facility. He was a native of Claremore, OK, but had moved from Wyandotte, OK to Cherokee County in 1941. He was the son of the late John and Essie Saultz Huls. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the United States Navy in the Pacific Theatre. Cliff was an assistant superintendent for Berkshire Knitting Mills and was co-owner and operator of Huls-Bettis Furniture. He was a member of the Saint Andrew Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia Wood Huls; two sons, Larry Huls and Michael Huls and wife, Claudia all of Andrews; a grandson, Jeffrey Huls, and a great granddaughter, Ali Huls.
Funeral services at 2:00 PM Wednesday (Feb. 13) in the Saint Andrew Lutheran Church with Rev. George Simmons officiating. Interment in the Valleytown Cemetery. Pallbearers: Jim Bristol, Eddie Trull, J.B. Bettis, Bobby Clayton, Andy Ondich, and Jeff Huls.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 Tuesday evening at the Ivie Funeral Home, Andrews where the body will be until placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the services.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in loving memory of Cliff Huls to the Saint Andrew Lutheran Church Building Fund, PO Box 1491, Andrews, NC 28901.
