LORRAINE DELONG

Lorraine DeLong, 88, of Murphy died Sunday (February 24, 2008) in a Murphy care facility. A native of Brooklyn, NY, Lorraine had moved from Atlanta, GA to Murphy in 1994. She was the daughter of the late Vincent and Bertha Galvan Nicotera and the wife of the late Robert W. DeLong, who died January 8, 1994. She was a homemaker and had attended Saint William Catholic Church.


Surviving are a daughter, Patricia Gawarecki of Centereach, NY; a son, Robert James DeLong of Brasstown;  three grandchildren, Robert and James Valinoti, and Lizzie DeLong;  and two great grandchildren, Samantha and Jason Valinoti.
 
Memorial services will be held at a later date in New York.
