NORMAN D. SCOTT
 

Norman D. Scott, 84, of Hayesville died Thursday (Feb. 14, 2008) as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  A native of Adams, MA, he had lived in Florida before moving to Clay County 20 years ago.  He was the son of the late Charles and Agnes Smith Scott.  He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the United States Navy.  He retired as a tool and die teacher from Daytona Beach Community College where he had taught for over 20 years.
 
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Lillian Scarbeau Scott; two daughters, Donna Kitchens and Ann Mueller both of Daytona Beach, FL;  two sons, Norman D. Scott Jr. of Pittsfield, MA and Charles Mueller of Daytona Beach;  and five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
