KENNETH A. STOVER

Kenneth A. Stover, 88, of Andrews died Sunday (January 29, 2006) in an Andrews care center. A native of Cherokee County, he was the son of the late James Wiley and Martha Derreberry Stover and the husband of the late Annie Martin Stover. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the US Army in the European Theatre. He was a retired millwright and was a member of the Charlotte Carpentry and Millwright Local 312. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Robbinsville. Kenneth's hobbies included hunting, fishing, and outdoor activities.

He was also preceded in death by two daughters, Patricia Gail Stover and Brenda Forbes.

Surviving are his wife, Pollyanna Jordan Stover; a son, James R. Stover and wife, Joyce of Andrews; four grandchildren, two great grandchldren, and one great great granddaughter; and three friends, Dean, Harley, and Daniel Hensley.

Graveside services at 11:00 AM Tuesday (January 31) in the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Burlin Aldridge officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in memory of Kenneth A. Stover to the Broyhill Baptist Children's Home, 61 Sneed Drive, Clyde, NC 28721.
