ARCENA L. WILSON
Arcena L. Wilson, 90, of Hayesville died Sunday (January 28, 2007) in a Clay County care center. A native of Coffey County, GA, she had lived in Keystone Heights, FL before moving to Clay County in 2002. She was the daughter of the late John and Sally Strickland Lynn and the wife of the late William Percy Wilson, who died in 1976. She had worked as a fire tower operator with the Florida Forestry Service. She was a member of the Gadara Baptist Church in Keystone Heights and was a worthy matron with the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Nell Anderson, who died in 1977.
Surviving are three daughters, Jessie Whitaker and husband, Ernie of Hayesville, Betty Jean Mays of Jacksonville, FL, and Carolyn Hall of Sanford, FL; one step-son, Gerald Wilson of Winter Park, FL; two sisters, Lorene Riggins of Georgetown, FL and Dorothy Doty of Jacksonville, FL; a brother, Julius Lynn of Dublin, GA; and 18 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
Funeral services at 2:00 PM Saturday (Feb. 3) in the Chapel of Jones Funeral Home in Keystone Heights, FL with the Rev. Paul Estes officiating. Interment in Keystone Heights Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 Friday evening at the Jones Funeral Home in Keystone Heights.
