NINA LUCILLE GARRETT DERREBERRY
Nina Lucille Garrett Derreberry, 72, of Andrews died Monday (Jan. 1, 2007) in an Andrews care center. A native and lifetime resident of Cherokee County, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Thelma Whitaker Anderson. Lucille had worked for Baker Furniture Manufacturing and was a member of the Valley River Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a son, Billy Joe Leming, who died April 30, 2006.
Surviving are her husband, Hoyle W. Derreberry; one son, Kenneth Gary Leming of Andrews; and one grandson and one great grandson.
Funeral services at 7:00 PM Thursday (Jan. 4, 2007) in the Valley River Baptist Church with the Rev. Roy Phillips officiating. Interment at 10:00 AM Friday (Jan. 5) in the church cemetery. Pallbearers: Eddie Shuler, Blaine and Giles Adams, and Douglas and Jeffrey Derreberry.
The family will receive friends from 5-6:45 Thursday evening at the Valley River Baptist Church prior to the services.
