SHARON  GREENLEE WALKER

Sharon Greenlee Walker, 57, of Murphy died Monday (Jan. 15, 2007) in a Murphy hospital.  A native of Harvard, IL, she had been a resident of Cherokee County since 2000. She was co-owner of S.M.T. Vinyl Works of Murphy. She attended Mountainview Community Church.
 
Surviving are her husband of 35 years, Paul Walker;  a daughter, Christie Walker of Murphy; a son, Chadd Walker and wife, Misty of Murphy;  her parents, Henry W. and Dorothy Cooprider Greenlee of Lakeland, FL;  three brothers, Tom, Rick, and Mark Greenlee all of Florida; and two grandchildren, Ty-Austin Walker and Isabel Freewalker both of Murphy.
 
A private graveside service will be held at a later date with Rev. Jeff Owens officiating.  
 
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in memory of Sharon Greenlee Walker to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 1151, Murphy, NC 28906 or Mountainview Community Church, PO Box 571, Murphy, NC 28906-571.
