MARJORIE AMANDA SCROGGS
Marjorie Scroggs, 85, of Hayesville died Friday (June 13, 2008) in a Murphy medical center. A native and lifetime resident of Clay County, she was the daughter of the late Paul M. and Mary Standridge Scroggs. She was a member of the Hayesville First United Methodist Church.
Surviving are three nieces, Mary Kathryn West of Warne, Martha Fullerton of Savannah, GA, and Sharon Edwards of Hiawassee, GA; and two nephews, James Bradshaw of Murphy and Van Burns of Athens, GA.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday (June 14) in the Hayesville First United Methodist Church Cemetery with Dr. Chester Jones officiating. Pallbearers will be Earl and Michael Bradshaw, Dave and Gil West, and Jason Dyer.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in memory of Marjorie Scroggs to the Hayesville First United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, PO Box 85, Hayesville, NC 28904.
