A native of Merrell, ME, she had lived in West Palm Beach, FL before moving to Cherokee County in 1987. She was the daughter of the late Fred A. and Mary Louise York Green and the wife of the late Walter G. Chapman Sr., who died in 1985. Charlotte was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Lou Baker. Surviving are three sons, Walter G. Chapman and wife, Frances, Frederick L. Chapman, and Patrick G. Chapman all of Murphy; eight grandchildren, two being Patricia Chapman and Tinika Rose Chapman; and 12 great grandchildren. Burial will be held at Lake Worth Memory Gardens in Lake Worth, FL.
