ESTHER HODGES

Esther Hodges, 90, of Murphy and Palm Harbor, FL died Wednesday (March 29, 2006) in a Murphy medical center. A native of Davidson County, she was the daughter of the late John Benton and Grace Pearl Roberts White and the wife of the late Elva Norwood Hodges. She had been an instructor for a community college and was of the Church of Christ faith.

She was preceded in death by a son, John Hodges, who died in 1989.

Surviving are a daughter, Edna Hodges of Murphy; a son, Rev. Douglas Hodges of Greencastle, PA; and a granddaughter, Heather Lee Hodges.

No services are planned.
