GERRY MOODY

Gerry Moody, 68, of Berlin, MD and Hayesville died Friday (March 17, 2006) at her residence in Hayesville. She was a native of Corinth, NY, but had lived most of her life in Newark, DE. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Olive Carragan Green. She had worked for the University of Delaware and later was an elementary school teacher. She was a member of the Questers, an avid bridge player, tennis player, and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Surviving are her husband of 47 years, William B. Moody; a daughter, Kathy DeFoe of Newark, DE; two sons, Bill M. Moody and David Moody both of Hayesville; two sisters, Audrey Green of Corinth, NY and Eileen Howe of Pennington, NC; and seven grandchildren.

Memorial services at 3:00 PM Saturday (April 8) at the Hilton Resort, 100 Continental Drive, Newark, DE 19713. Please contact KLDEFOE@udel.edu for more information.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in loving memory of Gerry Moody to the Pan Can, National Headquarters, 2141 Rosecrans Ave, Suite 7000, El Segundo, CA 90245.
