KURT M. TAYLOR
Kurt M. Taylor, 38, of Coral Springs, FL, formerly of Murphy, died suddenly Friday (March 24, 2006). A native of Cherokee County, he had been a resident of Coral Springs since 1978 after moving with his family from Pompano Beach, FL. He was the son of the late Elmer Taylor and Mary Jo Burrell Taylor Hartmeyer. He was the owner of Taylor Tree, Inc. Kurt was a very strong Christian.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Suzanne Taylor.
Surviving are a daughter, Kristi Taylor of Coral Springs; a son, Quinton Taylor of Coral Springs; two brothers, Denver Taylor of Glennville, GA and Jerry Taylor of Highlands, NC; his step-father, Frank Hartmeyer of Cleveland, TN; a loving companion, Elfy Zakovsky; and a host of friends.
Funeral services at 2:00 PM Saturday (April 1, 2006) in Grape Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Harry Nix officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12-1:45 Saturday afternoon at the Grape Creek Baptist Church prior to the services.
