ELIZABETH  “Betsy” WILLIAMS

Elizabeth “Betsy” Williams, 85, of Hayesville died Tuesday (March 27, 2007) in a Murphy medical center. She was a native of Bexley, OH, but had lived in Clay County for the past several years. She was a daughter of the late Walter A. and Clara Dorcus Magnuson. Betsy was a homemaker.

Surviving are her husband, Albert C. “Ted” Williams; a daughter, Nancy Stafford of Oxford, MD;  four sons, Michael Stephens of Marietta, GA, Joe Stephens of Hayesville, Robert Lowe Stephens, Jr. of Laurel, MD, and Sandy Monroe Stephens of Aspen, CO;  and 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
