CORA  HOYLE
 

Cora Hoyle, 70, of Andrews died Thursday (March 20, 2008) in a Forsyth County, NC medical center.  A native of Cherokee County, she was the daughter of the late Harrison Benjamin and Aline Hicks Gibby and the wife of the late Gerald R. Hoyle, who died in 1968.  She had worked as a custodian at the Andrews Junior High School for 14 years. Cora was of the Baptist faith.
 
Surviving are two daughters, Joyce Brown of Rock Hill, SC and Janice Hoyle of Blairsville, GA;  two sons, Gerald Hoyle II and Leroy Lambert both of Denton, NC;  two sisters, Sue Yonce and Louise Birchfield both of Andrews;  two brothers, T.A. Gibby of Robbinsville, NC and J.D. Gibby of Andrews;  and eight grandchildren and three great  grandchildren.
 
Graveside services at 11:00 AM Tuesday (March 25) in Valleytown Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Lambert officiating.  Pallbearers:  David Birchfield, Robbie, Johnny, and Ronnie Yonce, and Tommy and Jeffery Gibby.
