Ivie Funeral Home IRENE WILDE

Irene Wilde, 88, of Murphy died Monday (March 24, 2008) in a Murphy medical center. She was a native of Cherokee County where she had lived most of her life. She was the daughter of the late John and Bertha Kilpatrick Standridge. Irene was a homemaker and was a member of the West Merritts Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA.

Surviving are her husband of 41 years, Robert Stanley Wilde; two sons, Robert F. Pollard and wife, Margie of Kennesaw, GA, and Jimmy W. Standridge of Acworth, GA; and four grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday (March 26) in the Chapel of the Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy with Rev. Ray Harper officiating. Interment in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Darrell Ledford, Ernie Boring, Pat Boring, Harry Burgess, Brian Pollard, and Matthew Pollard.

The family will receive friends from 12-1:45 Wednesday afternoon at the Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy prior to the services.
