JOHNNY MULL

Johnny Mull, 85, of Hayesville died Saturday (March 15, 2008) at his residence. He was a native of Clay County, but had lived in Florida and Ohio before moving back to Clay County in 1954. He was the son of the late Calvin Monroe and Ida Lee Smith Mull. He had worked as a crane operator for Republic Steel and had worked for Lidseen of North Carolina. Johnny was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
 
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
 
Funeral services at 11:00 AM Thursday (March 20) in the Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Clark Moss officiating. Interment in the church cemetery.  Pallbearers: Carol Underwood, Larry Teems, Bill Morphew, Carl Green, J.D. Robinson, and David Landen.
 
The family will receive friends from 6-8 Wednesday evening at the Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville where the body will be until placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the services.
 
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in loving memory of Johnny Mull to the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Linda Cheeks, 1021 Lawrence Smith Road, Hayesville, NC 28904.
