MARY B. CONWELL
Mary B. Conwell, nee Ure, 94, of Stone Harbor, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday (March 17, 2008) in a Murphy medical center with her daughter, Patricia, at her side.
She was born 1 Oct. 1913 in Schenectady, NY and lived most of her life in Philadelphia, PA and Stone Harbor. She was a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Stone Harbor.
Mary will be remembered as a very hard worker in all of her church and civic activities as well as a loving Mother and Grandmother. She will be sadly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis J. Conwell; a son, Andrew U. Conwell; her parents, Andrew and Margaret Ure; and sisters, Martha, Susan, Margaret, and Catherine.
Surviving are her children, Francis Conwell and wife, Pat of Liberty, MO, Mary Harvey and husband, Bob of Marlton, NJ, and Patricia Ferguson and husband, Bob of Marble; a sister, Janet Eddleman of Gordon, PA; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held this spring at St. Mary’s in Stone Harbor followed by interment at Sunset Memorial Park, Huntingdon Valley, PA.
