MIKE MOSTELLER

Mike Mosteller, 57, of Andrews died Monday (March 24, 2008) at his residence. A native and lifelong resident of Cherokee County, he was the son of Betty Gregory Mosteller of Andrews and the late Elmo Mosteller. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the United States Navy. He was an electronic technician for Mosteller Radio and TV for many years. Mike was a member of the Valleytown Baptist Church. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed riding horses, motorcycles, fast cars, and water skiing.
 
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are two daughters, Joi Michelle Mosteller of Jacksonville, FL and Kitrinia Vaughn of Andrews;  a son, Jay Van Michael Mosteller of Jacksonville;  two sisters, Pat Foster of Murphy and Melissa Hicks of Brevard, NC;  a brother, Paul Mosteller of Andrews;  and two nieces and three nephews.
 
Funeral services at 7:00 PM Wednesday (March 26) in the Valleytown Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Jones officiating. Interment at 10:00 AM Thursday (March 27) in the Valleytown Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the Andrews VFW Post 7620. Pallbearers:  Casey Foster, John Cook, Sheridan Mosteller, Earl West, Gordon Fairlie, and Billy McKeon.
 
The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:45 Wednesday evening at the Valleytown Baptist Church prior to the services.
