TRILBY SNOW GLENN

Trilby Snow Glenn, 94, of Andrews died Wednesday (March 5, 2008) in an Asheville, NC hospital. A native and lifetime resident of Cherokee County, she was the daughter of the late James Franklin and Myrtle Everett Glenn. She was an elementary school teacher for 39 years, retiring in 1976. Trilby was a member of the Andrews First Baptist Church.


Surviving are a brother, James R. Glenn of California;  and six nieces and five nephews.
 
Funeral services at 2:00 PM Saturday (March 8, 2008) in the Andrews First Baptist Church with Dr. Chester Jones officiating. Interment in the Valleytown Cemetery.  Pallbearers: Virgil Gibson, David Higdon, Lane Raxter, Fred West, and Eddie and Keith Wood.
 
The family will receive friends from 12-1:45 Saturday afternoon at the Andrews First Baptist Church prior to the services.
 
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in memory of Trilby Snow Glenn to the Andrews First Baptist Church Kitchen Fund, PO Box 427, Andrews, NC 28901.
