ROBERT K. BRIGHAM

Robert K. Brigham, 80, of Murphy died Friday (May 4, 2007) in a Murphy medical center. A native of Milton, MA, he had lived in Sarasota, FL before moving to Cherokee County in 1989. He was the son of the late Lincoln F. and Dorothy King Brigham. He was a veteran of WWII and the Korean War, serving in the United States Army. Robert was a photographer for the United States Fisheries and Wildlife Center in Woods Hole, MA and he drove the van for IOI for about ten years after moving to Murphy. He was of the Presbyterian faith.

Surviving are his wife, Joyce Janes Brigham;  three sons, Stephen K. Brigham of Tucson, AZ, Nicholas Brigham of Woods Hole, MA, and Timothy Brigham of Cambridge, NY; two step-sons, Ted Wentzel, Jr. and Ricky Wentzel both of Sarasota, FL;  two step- daughters, Sandra Harden of Dallas, GA and Victoria Wentzel of Star City, AR;  a sister, Nancy Brewer of Sarasota, FL;  and seven grandchildren.
 
No services are planned.
