SARA REBECCA KLOCK

Sara Rebecca Klock, 89, of Aquone died Friday (May 4, 2007) at her residence. She had recently relocated to Aquone from Port Charlotte, FL. She was the daughter of the late Marion Worley and Hester Pearl King Gibson and the wife of the late Martin Earl Gaston, who died in July of 1961 and Joseph Ellsworth Klock, who died in June of 1995. Mrs. Klock was a member of the Mimosa Garden Club for 50 years, was an avid golfer, and was a member of the Fort Myers and Linville Country Clubs. Mrs. Klock was of the Baptist faith and she loved to square dance and travel.

She was preceded in death by four sisters, Lake, Carree, Rubye, and Ida M;  and three brothers, Ross, Worley, and Clinton.

Surviving are a daughter, Sandra Hughes of Aquone;  a son, Frances Earl Gaston of Key West; FL; and 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
 
A memorial service for family and friends will be held at a later date. Graveside services at 11:00 AM Saturday (May 19) in the Fort Myers Memorial Gardens.
 
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in loving memory of Sara Rebecca Klock to the Good Shepherd Home and Hospice Agency, PO Box 465, Hayesville, NC 28904 or to the Andrews United Methodist Church Building Fund, PO Drawer 1310, Andrews, NC 28901.
