CECILIA R. LARSON


 

Cecilia R. Larson, 96, of Murphy died Thursday (May 8, 2008) in a Murphy medical center.  A native of Bridgeport, CT, she had lived in Southport, CT before moving to Murphy in 1999.  She was the daughter of the late John and Mary Falvey Tarrant and the wife of the late Frederick J. Lane, who died in 1950 and the late Carl O. Larson. She was a graduate of the Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing and retired as a registered nurse. Cecilia was of the Catholic faith.
 
Surviving are her son, Fred F. Lane and wife, Mary of Murphy; and three grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
 
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Fairfield, CT.
