LOU BELLE BAINE


 

Lou Belle Baine, 87, of Parksville, TN, formerly of Riverhill Community, died Tuesday (May 20, 2008) in a Chattanooga, TN hospital.  She was a native of Cherokee County, where she had lived most of her life before moving to Parksville several years ago to be with her daughter.  She was the daughter of the late Ben and Inez Harper Morrow and the wife of the late Ammel Harding Baine, who died June 2, 1976.  She was a homemaker and was of the Methodist faith.
 
She was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Patton; and two brothers, Jim and Bayless Morrow.
 
Surviving are a daughter, Patricia “Trish” Roblyer of Parksville; a son, Ammel Harding “Bounce” Baine Jr. of Chattanooga, TN; three grandchildren, Ammel H. Baine III, Christi Roblyer McFarland, and Doug Roblyer; and a special great grandson, Bryce McFarland.
 
Funeral services were held at 1:00 PM Thursday (May 22) in the Chapel of the Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy with the Rev. Ray Harper officiating. Interment was held in the Riverhill Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Herman Murphy, Dwayne Kilpatrick, Keith McFarland, Johnny Leonard, Larry Dean, and Ray Harper.
 
The family received friends from 12-12:45 Thursday afternoon at the Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy prior to the services.
