GLADYS “Nell” JONES

Gladys “Nell” Jones, 92, of Murphy died Wednesday (Nov. 19) in a Murphy hospital. A native of Carroll County, GA, she was the daughter of the late John C. and Nora Bradbury Henry and the wife of the late Thomas Hamilton “Hamp” Jones Sr. She was a retired clerk with the Carroll County Court House in Georgia and a member of Bethany Christian Church.

Surviving are a son, Tommy Jones and wife, Norma of Blairsville, GA.

Funeral services at 2:00 PM Thursday (Nov. 20) in the Chapel of Hightower Funeral Home, Bremen, GA with Elder Homer Benefield officiating. Burial in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery in Carrollton, GA.
