JOANN
ARMS
JoAnn Arms, 63, of Cottage Grove, OR, formerly of Murphy, died Wednesday (Nov.
19, 2003) at her residence. A native of Young Harris, GA, JoAnn had lived in
Cottage Grove for the past 38 years. She was the daughter of the late Willie
and Amanda Fleming Green and the wife of the late Emery “Jack” Arms,
who died Nov. 17, 2000. She was a homemaker and worked for Senior Services for
a number of years. JoAnn took pride in taking care of her garden, spending time
with family, and designing floral arrangements. She was a member of the Calvary
Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Susan Arms of Pleasant Hill, OR and Sharon Arms
of Bend, OR; a son, Steven Arms of Cottage Grove; a sister, Janelle Barnett of
Murphy; two brothers, Bob Green and Medford Green both of Murphy; and a grandchild.
Private burial in Owl Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
