KATHY GARRETT

Kathy Garrett, 56, of Union County, Georgia died Thursday, November 27, 2003 in Fannin Regional Hospital. A native of Union County, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Frank J. and Blanche Padgett Henderson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Hiawassee Church of God.

Surviving are her husband of 25 years, Walter B. Garrett; five step-daughters, Mary Mortimer and her husband, Everett of Morehead City, NC, Jenny Stanley and her husband, Larry of Blue Ridge, GA, Gladys White and her husband, Doyle of Andrews, Helen Boyett and her husband, Alton of Panama City, FL, and Cassie Hewett of Belleville, AR; a step-son, James Garrett and his wife, Marjorie of Griffin, GA; two sisters, Ruth Henderson of Murphy and Judy Garrett and her husband, Joel of Hiawassee, GA; and several step grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral Services at 2:00 PM Sunday (Nov. 30) at the Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville with the Rev. Leon Henderson officiating. Burial in the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery in Union County, GA. Pallbearers: Burke Ferguson, Wayne and Larry Henderson, J.L. Davenport, Waymon Morgan, and David Moore.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 Saturday evening (Nov. 29) at the Ivie Funeral Home, Hayesville.
