A native of Akron, OH, she had been living in Murphy since 1977. She was the daughter of the late Curtis Alexander and Mildred Florence Lowery Duthe and the wife of the late George John Bunzer, who died March 20, 2002. She was a homemaker and a member of the Saint William Catholic Church. Surviving are a daughter, Sandie Bullock and husband, Jerry of Mars Hill, NC; a son, Gary J. Bunzer and wife, Deborah of El Cajon, CA; and seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy in charge of arrangements.
