JAMES BRONON BRYANT
James Bronon Bryant, 70, of Aquone died Tuesday (November 8, 2005) at his residence. He was a native and lifetime resident of Macon County and the son of the late Horace and Nora Taylor Bryant. He was a retired construction worker. He was a member of the Andrews Masonic Lodge No. 529 and was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Bryant.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Juanita Taylor Bryant; a daughter, Crickett Raxter and husband, Ted of Andrews; four sons, Tony Bryant and wife, Kelly of Marble, Mike Bryant and wife, Susie of Andrews, and Dean Bryant and wife, Cindy and Doug Bryant and wife, Cathy all of Nantahala; two sisters, Burdell Church of Charlotte, NC and Elda Hensley and husband, Wade of Topton; three brothers, Mark Bryant and wife, Ruth of Charlotte, Gene Bryant and wife, Bessie of Topton, and Charlie Bryant of Commerce, GA; ten grandchildren, Brandon, Shandon, and Dakota Bryant, Jeremy and Jay Raxter, Chris Ramsdell, Keyla O'Dell, Misty Bryant, Corrie Rhodes, and Elizabeth Bryant; and three great grandchildren, Savannah and Chase O'Dell, and Leilani Rhodes.
Funeral services at 2:00 PM Thursday (Nov. 10) in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Andrews with the Revs. S.J. Waters and Doyle Brown officiating. Burial in the Aquone Cemetery. Pallbearers: Jason and Jake Rowland, Jeff Holden, Clifford Panter, Kenny Cope, and Tommy Bauknight.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 - 1:45 Thursday afternoon at the Ivie Funeral Home, Andrews prior to the services.
