ERNEST “ERN” ANDERSON


 

Ernest “Ern” Anderson, 84, of Brasstown died Wednesday (Nov. 28, 2007) in Chatuge Regional Hospital.  A native and lifetime resident of Clay County, he was the son of the late George and Flora Ledford Anderson.  Ern was a retired farmer and a member of the Pine Log Baptist Church.
 
Surviving are a sister, Delza Anderson of Brasstown;  and several nieces and nephews.
 
Funeral services at 11:00 AM Saturday (Dec. 1) in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy with the Rev. Tom Leatherwood officiating. Interment in Pine Log Methodist Cemetery.  Pallbearers: Loster, Hubert, Cecil, and Billy Anderson, Bill England, and Don Chrone.
 
The family will receive friends from 6-8 Friday evening at the Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy.
