ROBERT F. SCHWARTZ

Robert F. Schwartz, 80, of Brasstown died Wednesday (Oct. 1, 2003) at his residence. Robert was a native of Owosso, MI and had lived in Michigan most of his life before moving to Brasstown 15 years ago from Spring Hill, FL. He was the son of the late Thomas and Myrtle Fletcher Schwartz. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the US Marine Corp in the Pacific Theatre. Robert co-owned Reiber & Schwartz auto dealership in Chesaning, MI, was the Chesaning Showboat Chairman for one year, and served on the Chesaning School Board. He loved fishing, hunting, and traveling and Robert was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are his ex-wife, Rosemary Schwartz; two sons, Leston E. Schwartz of DeWitt, MI and James R. Schwartz of Smyrna, DE; a step-daughter, Stacie Cannon of Murphy; three step-sons, Joe Wildermuth of Millington, MI, Rick Wildermuth of Flint, MI, and Randy Wildermuth of Owosso, MI; a sister, Joan Acker of Apache Junction, AZ; and four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Memorial services at 11:00 AM Saturday (Oct. 18) in the Trinity United Methodist Church in Chesaning, MI.
