HELEN
LOUISE HOGEBACK
Helen Louise Hogeback, 66, of Murphy died Wednesday (Oct. 8, 2003) in an Asheville
hospital. A native of Prince Georges County, MD, Helen had lived most of her
life in Bryans Road, MD before moving to Cherokee County in 1990. She was the
daughter of the late William John and Mabel Smith Ardeeser. She was a homemaker
and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by a son, Joe Osborn, who died November 23, 2002.
Surviving are her husband, Karl Hogeback; two daughters, Virginia Marie Hogeback
of King George, VA and Tina Louise Osborn of TX; two sons, Carl Michael Osborn
of Murphy and George Edward Osborn of Bryans Road, MD; a sister, Marie Plumley
of Cabin Creek, WV; a brother, Norman Ardeeser of Murphy; and four grandchildren,
Krista and Kyle Torney both of Frederick, MD, and Raven and Dakota Hogeback
both of King George, VA.
Funeral services at 2:00 PM Sunday (Oct. 12) in the Chapel of Ivie Funeral
Home, Murphy with Dr. Woodrow Busch officiating. Burial in the Old Martins
Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 Saturday evening at the Ivie Funeral
Home, Murphy.
Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy in charge of all arrangements.
