PATRICIA “Patti” OTT
Patricia “Patti” Ott,
57, of Murphy died Tuesday, October 7, 2003 at her residence.
A native of Queens County, NY, she had been a resident of
Kissimmee, FL before moving to Murphy in 1986. She was the
daughter of the late Joseph and Ruth Sweeney Blake. Mrs.
Ott was a homemaker and a member of the House of Prayer in
Blairsville, GA. She was the director of the Ask Program
in the church.
Surviving are her husband, Richard M. Ott; two daughters, Debbie Marie Desjardins
and her husband, Real J. of Blairsville, GA, and Cheryl Lyn Ott of Murphy;
a son, David Joseph Ott and his wife, Tammy Sue of Murphy; two sisters, Anne
Hayes and her husband, Buzzy of West Milford, NJ, and Mary Bannworth of New
Jersey; a brother, Harry Blake; and two grandchildren, Andrew Jonathan Ott
and Joshua David Ott.
Memorial services at 2:00 PM Saturday (Oct. 11) at the House of Prayer, Blairsville
with Pastor Jerry Helton officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service.
The family requests memorials be made to the Gideons International, P.O. Box
624, Murphy, NC 28906.
