A native of Cherokee County, she had lived in Knoxville, TN for 50 years before moving back to Murphy in 1988. She was the daughter of the late Joe Lee and Mary Bell Morrow Garrett and the wife of the late Carl E. Tauscher, who died April 20, 1949. She was a retired private duty nurse and a member of the Bright Hope United Methodist Church in Knoxville, TN. Surviving are two sisters, Myrtle Garrett and Lacie Garrett both of Knoxville. Funeral services at 2:00 PM Monday (Oct. 25) in the Chapel of the Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy with Rev. L.B. Adams officiating. Burial in the Liberty Cemetery. Pallbearers: Frank, Phillip, Brad, Heath, and Josh Ledford, and Ben Adams. Beacher Morrow as honorary pallbearer. The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45 Monday afternoon at the Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy prior to the services. Ivie Funeral Home, Murphy in charge of all arrangements. Remember
